4th Naoussa Educational Symposium
The scientific association EN* organized for the 4th consecutive year its annual educational symposium at the School of Aristotle on June 27 & 28.
This year’s symposium focused on the connection between space, Earth, and human esotericism, while also highlighting the relationship between the universe and our inner quest through the lens of three guest speakers. Vladimir Pletser, a Belgian astrophysicist and astronaut candidate, shared his experiences in parabolic flights and space research, prompting us to reflect on the limits of space exploration. Patxi Daniel R. Acero, Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, presented a series of recent research projects in the field of aviation, while authentically addressing ethical issues related to the environment, sustainability, and academic research. Nikolaos Divinis, Aerospace Engineer and Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor at GreyBird Pilot Academy based in Denmark, raised key questions concerning human esotericism and consciousness, emphasizing that the ultimate frontier is not in the universe, but within us. As he noted in his introduction, “This symposium is not merely about ideas. It is about synthesis. It is a bridge between science and spirit, between observation and intuition, between the known and the unknown.”
In addition to the particularly engaging talks, the symposium featured a panel discussion titled “Where is the True Frontier: Space, Earth, or Ourselves?” and an interactive workshop entitled “Mapping the Universe Within Us.” Participants also had the opportunity to explore the archaeological and cultural history of Naoussa through a series of parallel activities, including guided tours of the Macedonian Tombs of Mieza and the School of Aristotle, as well as visits to the Center of Industrial Heritage and the Kir-Yianni Winery Estate.
The event was broadcast live online, with participants joining from various parts of the world, including Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, the United States, and other regions of Greece.
